The 7 Deadly Sins of Reading TAG

I have seen this video on booktube on bookables which was originally created by BookishlyMalyza

GREED What is your most inexpensive book? What is your least expensive book? – My most expensive book is probably the “Kurt Cobain and Nirvana Chronicle” I have bought. It was about 35€ so quite expensive for a book. It is also huge and has a lot of pictures of the band inside. In my earlier times as a teenager, I was quite obsessed with Rock music and books about bands. I have also read Anthony Kiedis’ “Scar Tissue” and lots of books about the Beatles and John Lennon and Yoko Ono.

My least expensive book was probably “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone”. This, I bought for 1€ at the library sale of my university. The book is quite new and undamaged, so it was a bargain for me to buy this book. I don’t have all the english harry potter books yet, so that’s why I bought it :)

WRATH—What author do you have a love/hate relationship with?  – That’s probably with Charles Dickens. I read Charles Dickens, and although the story was quite an interesting one, I couldn’t get along with his writing style. It was a shame, because Dickens is a great author who wrote amazing stories about serious problems in the world.

GLUTTONY—What book have you deliciously devoured over and over with no shame whatsoever? – Of course the Harry Potter series. For some reason, I read the 6th book the most, although I like it the least. Probably because it was the first of the books that I bought. Before, I lent the books from my friend :) And I read it over and over again with no shame for being called a nerd :D

SLOTH—What book have you neglected reading due to laziness? – Oh, there are quite a lot, but the one I am most ashamed of is the Lord of the Rings series. I have only read book 1 and 2 but couldn’t pull myself together to continue reading the series. I don’t own the books, so here is a picture from the Internet.

PRIDE—What book do you most talk about in order to sound like a very intellectual reader? – Definitely Lolita :D It is a classic, although not as old as Shakespeare or else, but the writing style requires an intellectual reader who can read between the lines as well, and not take the story for its story, but for the style of writing. So I tend to show off in front of people who didn’t like this book and explain that the reason for them not liking it was probably because they didn’t understand it :’D

LUST—What attributes do you find most attractive in male or female characters? – In male characters I like the crazy and humorous ones like Fred and George. In female characters I like the strong ones like Katniss from “The Hunger Games” series or Rosa from the “Arcadia Awaken” series.

ENVY—What books would you most like to receive as a gift? – All kinds of book actually, but I really wish to receive the “Harry Potter Film Wizardry” book. That would be great!
