I saw this post over at Books For Thought, and decided to do it as well because it is going to be sooo much fun, and quite interesting and creative :) She has found that tag at the youtube channel of jesse the reader, which I also follow and enjoy. He is quite funny, you should check him out :D
Here are my answers:
Pick a book that starts with each of you initials.
The Makioka Sisters by Jun’ichiro Tanizaki. I don’t own that book, but maybe I should read it in the future :)
Count you age starting at the top of your bookshelf. What book is it?
My 22nd book is The Beautiful and Damned by F. Scott Fitzgerald :) I like that really. Somehow it fits to the age of 22 ;D
Find a book that takes place in your country, state, or city.
Das Mädchen und die Herzogin by Astrid Fritz. It is set in Stuttgart, Germany, so that’s why the book is in german. I also don’t think that there is a translation of that.
Pick a book that represents a destination that you’d love to travel to.
That’s a bit hard, but I think I would pick Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami, since I really really want to go to Tokyo, Japan.
Pick your book that has your favourite colour on it.
Although I don’t own this book, and I also didn’t like it that much, it contains both of my favorite colors: Red and Purple.
Which book do you have the fondest memories of.
Harry Potter probably, or most definitely I would say. It has accompanied me through my life and has a significant place in my heart.
Which book did you have the most difficulty reading.
The Lord of the Rings series or rather, the first two books since I could never get myself into reading the third. I really found it difficult to get into that writing style. I was very bored, I unfortunately have to admit. The movie, on the other hand, was a blast!
Which book on your TBR pile will give you the most satisfaction when you read it.
Probably almost every book standing on my shelf and waiting for me to pick it up. However, I think it will be a great accomplishment to read finally read the classics such as The Hound of the Baskervilles, Wuthering Heights, The Idiot, and so on.
Oh, we have come to an end of that Tag. That was really a lot of fun! Maybe I should do more book tags in the future :)
Everyone can feel free to participate. I would be happy if you could leave a comment so that I can check out your answers as well :)
